Halloween Hi-jinks as Secret Vintage Fair Comes to Peterborough

SECRET VINTAGE AUTUMN SPECTACULAR TO HELP SUE RYDER APPEAL

The Secret Vintage Fair  are planning something rather special this coming autumn in Cambridgeshire, a two-day vintage  shopping and live music spectacular, in a secret location, to help raise funds for the Sue Ryder Hospice.
The weekend of October 31st and November 1st, will see a huge vintage fair take over a prime Peterborough landmark, our lips are tightly sealed as to the location, and will be ‘keeping mum’ until the end of the summer. The two-day event will also incorporate workshops, live music, and entertainers, with a spooky Halloween twist!

The Vintage Fair will showcase a variety of stalls, selling vintage homewares, clothing, kitchenalia, haberdashery, steampunk, jewellery and accessories, as well as quality handmade craft items, and so much more!  Customers will also be able to indulge from a delicious selection of refreshments available on site, and, those who really want to spoil themselves, can pre-book for an exclusive afternoon tea experience.

Customers are encouraged to come dressed in their vintage finest, as the Secret Vintage Fair team will be awarding a prize to the best dressed vintage guy and gal they spot across the weekend, in the Vintage Photoboth provided by vintage photographer extraordinaire Dexter Morgan.

Across both the Saturday and the Sunday, there will be an array of different live music  and entertainment and so customers would be advised not to just come on one day but to turn up to both! There will be live appearancea from Jade May Jean Peters, a star from BBC’s The Voice, and top electro swing DJ Tallulah Goodtimes will be on hand to act as our Mistress of Ceremonies! There also may be a jester or two lurking about!

Concept creator of the Secret Vintage Fairs, Lucy says, “We are so glad to be supporting the wonderful Sue Ryder Hospice for this event. They provides exceptional care across the region and we wanted to show our support, I can’t wait to see how much money we can raise for them!”

Whilst Janine and co run the Essex and Suffolk events, Cambridgeshire born Lucy teamed up with her vintage loving colleague Charlie Ives last year to expand the fairs, and the pair have already hosted three vintage events together, in Stamford, Oundle and St Ives.

Charlie says, “The best way to stay informed of updates for this event and many others is to sign up to our mailing list, via our website to be the first to find out any news and information on our future fairs and secret locations. To date the Secret Fairs have already raised over £3500 for a variety of charities and we hope you will come along to support the hospice on 31st October AND 1st November!!”
Entrance to the vintage fair event is £3 for one day, or £5 for both days, and tickets can be bought on the door, with 50% of all door proceeds going to the charity, alongside 100% of proceeds from the raffle and silent auction. The entry fee includes a free cup of tea for every person, and children under 16 get free entry!

Traders are invited to apply by emailing stallholders@secretvintagefair.com  or info@secretvintagefair.com.
